OUR MANUFACTURING PROCESS

The Carbothermic Reduction Process

We utilize a highly controlled Carbothermic Reduction Process to ensure the highest grade of alloy extraction. Our modernized facility allows for seamless material handling from raw ore to final dispatch.

Manganese ore, coke, coal and dolomite storage silos with conveyor feed
1
Step 01

Raw Material Sourcing & Handling

Quality begins at the source. We utilize high and medium-grade manganese ore, combined with premium reductants including coke and coal. Materials are fed into storage bunkers via an automated belt conveyor system.

Step 02

Automated Batch Charging

Precision is managed from our central control room. A programmable logic controller (PLC) system seamlessly regulates the exact ratios of raw materials, dropping batches into the furnace charging hoppers for optimal chemical balance.

Step 03

The Carbothermic Process (Smelting)

The charge is fed into our Submerged Arc Furnaces. Heavy electric currents are passed through three massive carbon electrodes, generating the intense heat required to reduce the manganese ore into molten alloy and slag.

Step 04

Tapping & Separation

After reaching target power consumption, tapping is initiated by opening the tap hole via oxygen lancing. The liquid metal and slag flow through a sophisticated runner and skimmer system. The lighter slag is diverted to a sand bed, while the pure molten alloy is channeled into casting moulds.

Step 05

Cooling & Sizing

The liquid metal cools in designated metal beds. Once solidified, the metal casts are transferred to the finished yard, where they are crushed and broken into specific lump sizes tailored to individual client order requirements.

QUALITY ASSURANCE & PACKAGING

Uncompromising Quality Control

Quality is not just a promise; it is a verifiable metric in every batch we produce.

In-House Lot Testing

Once sized, the metal is grouped into designated lots and rigorously tested by our internal quality assurance team.

Lab technician conducting independent silico manganese analysis

Third-Party Pre-Inspection

Before any material leaves our facility, an independent third party takes samples and conducts powder testing in their own laboratories to guarantee unbiased certification.

SECURE GLOBAL DISPATCH
