Every incoming batch of iron ore, coal and dolomite is sampled and tested against a defined chemical benchmark, nothing moves to production until it clears that bar.

DRI Live Monitoring & Lab Analysis

Temperature and feed rate are watched continuously while the kiln runs, and the sponge iron that comes out still has to pass its own lab check before it counts as finished.

Sponge iron, pig iron and ferro alloys each have to be individually verified, all three are checked before anything is cleared into the furnace.

Once slag is removed, the crude steel is refined and dosed with alloys to a precise ratio, verified with a quick sample pulled straight from the melt.

Iron ore fines and coal begin the chain, coal drawn straight from Shakambhari's own mines, not rented piece by piece from the market.

Raw fines are agglomerated into uniform spherical pellets, engineered for the permeability clean reduction demands.

SPONGE IRON · KILN

The Stripping Away

Inside the rotary kiln, oxygen is stripped from the pellets at ~950°C, no coking, no blast furnace, just metallic sponge iron.

Where It Becomes One

Sponge iron, scrap, pig iron and in-house silicomanganese melt in the induction furnace into one liquid steel.
