No single leap explains Shakambhari. It's a sequence of decisions, each one making the next one possible.
Shakambhari Group began in 2001 as a single incorporation at Madandih, Purulia. What followed was two decades of deliberate, backward-integrated growth: sponge iron feeding steel melting, steel melting feeding rolling mills, waste heat feeding captive power, one stage of the chain built to strengthen the next.
Today the group is Shakambhari Ispat & Power Limited and its family of companies, eight establishments across Durgapur, Madandih, Rukni, Purulia and Hooghly, producing Thermocon TMT and Elegant Steel QST bars, ferro alloys, aluminium foil and organic produce under the Green Habit brand, exported to 35+ countries and trusted by names like L&T, Adani, Coal India, DRDO and NHAI.
