SPS STEELS ROLLING MILLS LTD. (SPS)

SPS Steels Rolling Mills Ltd. was incorporated on 26th December 1981. It has an integrated steel plant in Durgapur (West Bengal) with facilities to manufacture TMT bars, angles and channels of capacity 2.88 lakh TPA under the brand name of ELEGANT®. The company also has the facilities to produce sponge iron and MS Billet with the installed capacity of 60,000 TPA and 100,000 TPA respectively.

Shakambhari Ispat & Power Limited (SIPL), the flagship company of Shakambhari group has acquired and taken over the control of SPS Steels Rolling Mills Ltd. after receiving approval from the Kolkata bench of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). In a very short span, the plant managed to achieve 100% of the capacity utilization. The acquisition of the brand is expected to enhance the group value and turnover in the next 3 years with a compounding growth rate of 30%. The company is planning to invest 150 Crores to make this plant self-sufficient with Steel Melting Capacity.
